Why? x 10

10 things that have happened in the WWE for no apparent or logical reason. In no particular order.

1] The roster split
Why did it have to happen? Oh right the company was too big to be able to have just one big roster. Think about it though, did the split really give that many guys the chance to have more TV time? Of course not? Perhaps a few more wrestlers were on TV but the majority of the time we were just seeing the same guys we normally see. Look at it now for crying out loud. Officially there is still a split but in reality wrestlers just wrestler on both shows anyway.

2] 2 World championships
I'm not even going to go in to having 2 Tag Team titles or 2 Women's titles. Let's stick with the big one[s]. At the beginning of the split the World Champion [and women's Champions for that matter] was allowed on both shows. This didn't really work though since the World champ would have to fued with somebody on one of the shows, making his presence on the other show meaningless. So they decided to have 2 champions and that made it worse. The whole idea of a champion is that he is the champion! He and he alone is the main man in the company. He is the head of the show. The main event is supposed to involve him, so is the main story line. As it stands now, they have split this honor in half. Not only that but the champion is most certainly not involved in the main stories anymore, just look at the some recent Wrestlemanias and see who was opening the cards and who was headlining them.

3] Vickie Guerrero
Sorry if you like her and don't get me wrong, she seems like a nice, kind and decent person in reality, but she should not be on WWE television. It's no mystery to us that the only reason she is on TV is due to her late husband, and it's great that the WWE want to support her by giving her a job with them, but come on! There are plenty of jobs she could have in the WWE. Does she have to be put on television and given a mic? Some people have argued that she gets heat. Yeah she gets heat because she sucks. It's not that hard to get heel heat if you think about it. You can go out there and completely screw up on the mic or bore the fans to death and they'll boo you. They'll boo you because they want you to leave and ironically, despite being horrible on the mic, the boos will get you the heel heat that you need.

4] 40 man Royal Rumble
A Royal Rumble can get so long winded and boring that sticking in an extra 10 men is only going to make the situation worse. Most of the guys in it are just lower or mid card fillers anyway who have absolutely no chance of winning the Rumble. They are just there to drag it out a bit, otherwise it would only consist of about 5 wrestlers who have a realistic chance of winning. Thankfully this idea was only a one-off.

5] Theodore Long
Quite possibly the most boring man on WWE television ever and certainly the most boring GM ever and that takes in to account that Vickie Guerrero was [and currently is] a GM. This guys was given a horrible gimmick over 8 years ago that didn't suit him then and does not suit him now. Why did they not just leave him as a referee? Why did someone decide to do this and why are they still pushing him down the fan's throats. Enough with this crap already, please.

6] Lita on commentary
This was a while back now, but for those who watched wrestling over 10 years ago, yes, Lita, the red haired one, the former diva, the former women's champ, was placed on commentary for a short time. It was not short enough though. All it did was prove that women are bad talkers. Whether it be on commentary or on the mic, they suck. Granted it was only on Heat, but that is no excuse and it was another terrible decision by whoever made it.

7] 1000 returns of the Hulkster
How many times has this old fool returned to the WWE [thankfully not recently]? These moves to bring him back might have been good decisions financially [and since most decisions in the WWE are made with business in mind, it was a great decision], but it was horrible to see him returning over and over again. 1st return, great. 2nd return, okay fine. 3rd return, oh piss off! Eventually he would just return to have one match and then leave. He is probably happy though, he got paid [a lot] and that's what counts.

8] 2 women's championships
I briefly touched on this. Kkay so one was a women's championship and the other one is a diva title. So what? They never gave a crap about of the women's championship anyway, so why have 2 of them? This was an utter waste of time. Now they have liquidated the women's championship and kept the diva's championship. Hmmm should we keep the title that had a great past and many great female champions? Nah let's keep the gimmicky one that was made a few years ago.

9] Masked Kane
Oh you've gotta love this one. Yeah let's put the mask back on Kane. This makes sense. Here we have a wrestler who has spent the best part of 9 years with no mask, so let's give him the mask again so you can't see his face. Perhaps people will forget what he looks like and then they can unmask and reveal him again. It's funny, Rey Mysterio was unmasked in WCW but only for a couple of years. He then went to the WWE masked but truth is, a lot of WWE fans did not watch the WCW and so they might not have known what he looked like anyway [if you still don't know and you want to, I'm sure you'll find some pictures of him on the internet]. With Kane it is a little different. There was a story behind it and then he got unmasked. This move to put the mask back on him makes no sense.

10] Bad Michael Cole
Oh yeah let's make the commentator that nobody cares about a heel. Why not? Let's make the commentator who calls the match a heel. The main commentator calling the match is supposed to be straight talking and telling it like it is, not criticizing wrestlers. What's wrong with the WWE? Obviously a lot. There are plenty of great heel color commentators, so the reason to turn Cole heel makes no sense, much like turning Coach heel. It's like, yeah the Coach is a heel now, okay? Just so you know, anyway. Who cares?

|Disclaimer| To those thinking, there are many more than 10 illogical things that have happened in the WWE, you're absolutely right there are many more, but for the purpose of this post, your  sanity and mince, let's start with just 10.
